DCS Prom - A Few Words of Gratitude

DCS Prom does not happen without the support of MANY individuals and organizations. On behalf of the Senior Class of 2021, I would like to let you know how thankful we are:

- Thanks to the Dinsmore Kinsmen and the team at PCCU for the contributions of money that helped the SRC purchase the downtown banners and the yard signs – they looked great!!
- Thanks to Shanda for once again being the official Grad Photographer – We are so lucky to have you in this community; your flexibility and artistry are truly a gift to us. Thank you!!
- Huge thank you to Shanda and Stan for coordinating the arrival of the tent that saved the kids from heat exhaustion!
- The Dinsmore Fire Department added so much to last year’s parade, and we are thrilled that they agreed to play along again this year – thanks for all the polishing you did to get those trucks ready!
- Thanks to the team at Economy Stationery for the beautiful banners and signs – please stop by when you’re in Rosetown and let them know how much you appreciate their work!
- Thanks to the Village of Dinsmore Crew for their very last-minute efforts to put up those great banners!
- Thanks to the DCS Staff for all of their efforts to put this day together:
  - Thanks to Mr. Lawrence for his most excellent presentation as Guest Speaker – the kids will always remember it!
  - Thanks to our Grade 11s: Tristen, Spencer, and Ryan, for working on decorating detail, and thanks to the girls for recording this ceremony for you all. Thanks to Jodi and Darcy Kako for lending us their iPad!
  - Thanks to the Grade 9/10 class for all of their work setting up the tent and chairs this morning. You are such a great crew to work with!
  - Mrs. Keeler – Thanks for all of the awards work and printing you’ve done this week!
  - Mrs. Ballek – thank you for the tech work posting all of the videos for our families.
  - Mrs. Beattie – thank you for coordinating Casual/Cap & Gown photos this year!
  - Mr. Morrison and the Grade 7/8 Class – for the set-up work, for liming the vectors, and, Mr. Mo, for running sound today.
  - Mrs. Morrison and her team – the decorations look fantastic!
  - Thanks to the Dinsmore Kinsmen for lending us their sound system.
  - Mrs. Orban – for performing Parade Marshal duties this afternoon – we truly appreciate it!
  - Mrs. McIntyre - for sharing your acting talents with us!!
  - And…last but not least: Mrs. Rychlo – thanks for leading tent construction and set-up, and for being Co-MC today. Your support has been invaluable.

For the past 16 years, DCS Prom has been a highlight of my school year…often as Advisor, and a couple times as a mom…and I want to thank all of the parents, students, and staff I have had the opportunity to work with as we planned true celebrations (roasts??!) of our great DCS Senior Classes. I have had a load of fun and am leaving with some fantastic memories! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
