Situated in the ‘Buckle of the Wheatbelt’, Dinsmore Composite School (DCS) provides educational programming for students from K through to Grade 12, drawing students from the Dinsmore, Milden and Wiseton communities. 

Home of the Wildcats, our students have a longstanding tradition of athletic and academic excellence.  Our staff and students are proud of the ‘close knit’ family that we have worked hard to create, not only within the school walls but also stretching out into the community. 

Students and staff are involved in various community activities including our Annual Terry Fox Run, Meals on Wheels and programming at the Dinsmore Health Care Centre.  We also host an annual high school bonspiel which has been running for 58 years!

The staff, student body, and community members came together in June 2013 to build an amazing new playground through the ‘Let Them Be Kids’  program on the grounds of DCS; something that will be enjoyed for years to come! 

We also take great pride in the high level of participation at school events, thanks in large part to the great parental support our students receive.
